Technical Knowledge sharing innitiatives are conducted to share experiences of engineers and expert in technical fields in local campuses in eastern Indonesia. It was started up by a couple of engineers and geoscientist of BP Indonesia, visited local universities in Papua. In 2010, four engineers visited three local universities in Papua and succesfully managed to invite 1,200 students to listen to their lectures.

 

This program was sponsored by Indonesian government through SKK Migas and BP Indonesia. The program is being continously held now and more and more students are expected to be interested to study technical considering high demand of such skills in the region
